PUB is the National Water Agency of Singapore. PUB has developed Technology Roadmap over the years to provide direction on Research & Development (R&D) funding and efforts. Developed jointly with relevant stakeholders, it provides common objectives to strive towards with time-specific milestones. In the search for technological solutions to Singapore’s water challenges, the Technology Roadmap guides national efforts in water sub-domain in issuing grant calls, specifically top-down Requests-for-Proposals (RFPs) such as the directed calls (specific research domain) or challenge calls (specific research topic with stretched target).
PUB developed Singapore Water Exchange (SgWX) in 2018 to house an ecosystem of water companies that can leverage mutual strengths to push the frontiers of water innovation and business growth. PUB aims to develop SgWX into a showcase of water technologies, as well as a hub for commercialisation. It will be organising a series of programmes to spur commercialisation, covering bootcamps, hackathons, technology open houses, and training programmes.
EnvironSens and SpaceAge Labs are Singapore water technology companies.
